About Online Medical Consultations

If you wish to receive an online medical consultation, please read and agree to the following notes before applying.

At our clinic, online consultations are conducted only for follow-up visits using LINE (smartphone).

1.Basic Principles of Online Medical Consultations

In principle, initial consultations are conducted face-to-face.
Because online consultations do not allow for physical examinations and other assessments, the information obtained is limited. Therefore, even after the first visit, patients must also undergo in-person consultations as deemed appropriate by the doctor.

Each time an online consultation is conducted, the doctor will carefully determine whether it is appropriate. If online consultation is deemed unsuitable, the session will be promptly terminated and switched to an in-person consultation.

Online consultations should be provided only when the patient understands both the benefits and potential disadvantages and requests the service. They must not be conducted for research purposes or solely for the convenience of the medical provider.

At our clinic, psychoactive medications will not be prescribed to first-time patients or those who have not visited for a long period via online consultation.

2.Security and Privacy Risks Associated with Online Consultations

Patients must not record, videotape, or photograph the video consultation without the doctor’s consent.

During the session, no third party may participate unless agreed upon by the doctor.

In exceptional cases where an initial consultation is conducted online, the patient must verify their identity using an ID card with a photo.
If no photo ID is available, two or more forms of identification are required.
